Membership RefErRal Scheme
Did you know we operate a referral scheme?
We are currently offering a bar credit of up to £40 for any member who introduces a new member to the club.
If joining online, the referring member’s name and membership number (on their membership card) must be entered in the “Promotional Code” in section 1 (Club Selection).
If joining at the bar, the referring member’s name and membership number (on their membership card) must be entered onto the membership form by the new member at the time of sign up.
Where a current member refers a friend to the club who goes on to purchase a membership, the referring member will eligible for bar credit for one of the following denominations;
£40 bar credit when two friends or family members join as one of the following memberships:
• Joint Adult Social or Tennis Members
• Family Social or Tennis Members
£20 bar credit when a friend or family member joins as one of the following memberships:
• Single Adult Social or Tennis Member
£10 bar credit when a friend or family member joins as one of the following concessionary memberships:
• Social or Tennis Senior Member
• Social or Tennis Student Member
Refer a Friend - Terms and Conditions
The 'Refer A Friend' scheme is subject to the terms and conditions below:
i. The existing (referring) member must be fully paid up at the time of referral with no outstanding balances on their account.
ii. Only one referrer's name per membership application.
iii. If joining on a Joint Membership, the ‘primary’ member on the application cannot refer the ‘secondary’ person on the membership or vice versa.
v. The referral offer is not valid for membership renewals.
vi. The referral offer does not apply to any junior membership categories.
vii. Bar staff are not eligible for the Refer a Friend offer.
viii. The new member/s must not have been a member of the club within the past 12 months.
ix. You cannot refer yourself.
x. Only the referring member receives a bar credit.
xi. The bar credit can only be redeemed at the bar against drinks, food and snacks sold by The Albert Club.
xii. Credit is applied directly to the referring member’s membership card. No physical voucher is issued and no cash alternative is offered.
xiii. To redeem the credit, the referring member’s membership card must be set to allow monetary top-ups. If their card is not registered, please speak to a member of staff.
xiv. The Club reserves the right to suspend, amend, withdraw or refuse this offer at any time without notice or reason.
