Tennis
The club has 6 artificial grass flood-lit tennis courts open from 9am to 10pm seven days a week, fifty-two weeks a year (subject to availability). For more information visit our tennis section.
Crown Green Bowls
After a few years in the wilderness, bowling is back! What finer way to spend a summer’s afternoon than watching those woods glide across the green. The bowling team practices most Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons from spring through until early autumn, and sometimes in winter under floodlights. There are two teams who play in the Altrincham and South Manchester League. Newcomers of all ages welcome, guidance given and bowls available to borrow from behind the bar. Snooker
Two snooker teams play from our refurbished snooker room with two full-sized tables and with its original vaulted ceiling the room looks quite magnificent. The club holds twice yearly snooker handicaps, which are open to all members. Members are welcome to use the snooker room at all times except on match nights. Our top team plays in the Wilmslow and District Snooker League and another in the Levenshulme and District Snooker League.
Table Tennis
The table tennis section currently has four teams playing in the Manchester and District League and four teams playing in the Wilmslow League. Both are mixed leagues comprising both male and female players. Bats and balls are available from the bar for casual players.
