Bowling Team

The present Albert Bowling team is in its second year and plays for the Alan Wilkinson Altrincham and South Manchester League.  Now lying 3rd in Division 3, the team's first ambition is to finish this season as one of the top two teams.  This would mean promotion to Division 2.  Watch this space!

They got to the quarter final of the Kearns Knockout Cup, knocked out by the team that are currently 2nd in the Division 1 so that's pretty good going.

The team are very proud that, at home matches, our green and club are so admired by visiting teams.  Much of that is due to Peter, our greensman.

On Thursday nights during the season the club welcomes would-be bowlers to come and try the sport alongside regulars.
